Open Monument Day in Cologne “Die Brücke”, formerly the British Information Center, was built in 1949/50 according to plans by Wilhelm Riphahn and served as a meeting place. The angular building is designed like a Gesamtkunstwerk. After the Kölnischer Kunstverein moved into the listed building in 2002, it was able to adapt it as a model building of modernism in the spirit of Riphahn.
