Record, offset print cover and sleeve, designed by Wolfgang Tillmans
It is with great pleasure to present the Vereinsgabe 2018 by Wolfgang Tillmans. We are proud that despite of his dense year of exhibitions, he agreed to compose a work especially for the members of the Kölnischer Kunstverein. He decided to focus on his continuing interest in music and produced a record, and designed the cover and inner sleeve.
Without the great support of our friends and partners, the realisation of such an ambitious project such as the member’s edition could not made possible. Foremost we would like to thank Wolfgang Tillmans for his time and dedication to conceptualize and produce this work. Furthermore, we would like to thank Lena Zimmermann, gallery Buchholz and studio Tillmans in Berlin. We are extremely thankful to Susanne Imhoff, and the Imhoff Stiftung, who – for the sixth time now – enthusiastically supported that project.
